The projects goal was to design an embodied and rich interaction in a multi-scenario context, distributing interfaces and paying special attention to emerging phenomena.

For this we chose the topic of noise pollution. The intelligent smart home system Noisys helps to deal with nuisances. Users can react with a sound shield, a mediation lamp or an emergency button - assertive, unassailable or aggressive - to noise.

 

As part of the Mind-the-Step exhibition, this project was shown during Dutch Design Week 2017. There it was nominated by the City of Eindhoven for the Social Design Talent Award 2017.

In 2018 Noisys was exhibited at the Museum "Tetem" in Enschede, The Netherlands.
